Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram has set
up an ultra-modern “iMac Lab” comprising
of latest gadgets supplied by Apple Inc. on 26th January, 2023. The
lab consists of iMacs, iPad and
an Apple
TV. The chief guest of the event was Retd.
Brigadier Jagmohan Varma (SM, VSM). He inaugurated the iMac lab and congratulated
the college for providing latest facilities, and also motivated the
students.
The objective behind setting lab was to make the young technocrats
of every domains future ready for the all-inclusive modern challenges of the
present times. Students will have the opportunity to learn the insights of
latest technologies that drive the digital world like mobile computing,
multimedia, cloud computing etc. The lab would provide great opportunity to the
students to have hands-on-experience on the incredibly powerful Mac and iOS.
This in turn will inspire students to learn the latest technologies and
start-up operations in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
It was a moment of pride for everyone as DCE has reached a
valuable milestone in its pursuit to achieve excellence in imparting technical
education of global standards and bridge the gap between academics and the
industry needs. The immense variety of applications of Apple will help in
fostering creativity of students and provide a platform to create innovative
projects.
